Reflection 4 : ONLINE INDUCTION SYSTEM



     
The online induction was the system that created by the company which is easily to expose, manage and reporting the induction process to the new employee and expose them with the environment of the organization. Other than that, in the induction system, there have a several components that introduce the function of HR to the new employees such as the training induction program, compensation & benefit, training & development, performance appraisal and recruitment & selection.
            One of the components that are more important is induction program or e-induction. It is this component were exposed to the new employees about the types of induction program as a basic training that provided by organization such as the corporate culture, corporate strategy, organizational structure, personnel welfare system, security, safety & health, core product knowledge and etc.
            Although, in the induction system there also expose to the employee about the mission, vision and the philosophy of the organization ant make the new employee clear about the background of the company. The employee can also directly call to the company if there have any question regarding the induction or the company policy by use the number given in component ‘Contact Us’.
            I realize that this system gain more advantages rather than disadvantage. The advantages that can be seen on this system are save the time of manager and the new employees to attend the basic training induction which is the new employees can’t disturb the senior employee’s in order to ask about the company background and the policy that stated in the company. It also can give the employee opportunity to self- independent to always alert with updating information that occur on the system. The system induction also must be the user friendly online interface and more attractive to use by employees.
